NEW CO for the 22nd

The time has actually come for the change of the brass. It has been one hell of a long ride for me as the CO of the 22nd, so many memeories and how I even got to that point. Looking back only makes one's self look forward, and with that in mind I know that it is good to have the brass back in Europe that carries the 22nd ensignia.

I have been CO since 2006 and in 22nd since 2004, I still remember the first time I meet a 22nd. I had come up on a berm to a blue tag near Diest. Low and behold the name tag carried Spikey, and from that point on I have bleed the colors of 22nd from anyway possible and did what I could to hold us together, through the good times and the bad. I cant say I always made the right choices, and some I didnt, but I did try regardless of what some think.

I myself have had so many long nights trying to figure out what to do in times of 22nds need, and the only thing I could do and always have was be there to defend everything we did against any of those that opposed us. Much of AHC does not and still doesnt like me because of that, and thats fine. I even told them that at mini cons lololol. Atleast I never left you the 22nd more than once and leaving disary behind. I made many mistakes and I cannot take those back for some of you, and for that I have always aplogized to those that have been wronged, whether they accepted it or not.

Such a long time has passed for me here and this doesnt mean I am going away I just will not be in command anymore, just happy to carry a gun to help those of us in the 22nd.

With such change comes new changes and I am sure this person will be just what is needed to drive the new 22nd to a new divine light!

Niteeye is the new CO and now new leader for everyone on the field of battle. He has actually been the 22nd since it started or shortly after, at any rate, he's been around the 22nd longer than I have lol. I have the upmost confidence in Niteeye and will be here for his support when I am available.

So it gives me great pleasure to annouce the new CO!!!!

Just stepped through the door once again. Looking for action if the game isn't as issue ridden as it was a year or so ago.

I've retired from DSA Command myself and am serving as the Senior Adviser. They're doing fine with over 150 active Members but darned if I could get any of them interested in BGE. I'm finding I have a lot of free time of late and on into the foreseeable future. Still playing other games of course. During my time away though I found myself missing BGE action with the 22nd Mech crew. That prompted me to return and have a serious look at the health of the Regiment and the state of the game. Coming back to the 22nd was my first priory met. Re-upping with BGE is still up in the air. If it's stable and playable I shall. How many active 22nd Mech Members do you now have niteeye? Count me as one possible.

I have been away for over a month havent a clue but on our facebook page I have heard its getting steady again.
